Athens Little League Families,

Below is the Spring 2026 Evaluation Schedule for Athens Little League. All evaluations will take place Saturday, February 7th and Sunday, February 8th at Holland Park.

Important: Player age for evaluations is based on League Age (the age your child will be on August 31, 2026).

🚨 IMPORTANT – MAJORS (AGES 10–12) CALLOUT 🚨

All 10–12 year-old players who wish to be considered for the Majors division MUST attend one day of evaluations, including players who have previously played in Majors.

Any 10-year-old player who does NOT wish to be considered for the Majors draft may indicate this when signing in for evaluations.

Saturday, February 7th

Field 1 – Baseball Player Pitch (Ages 9–12)

11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Last names A–J: Arrive at 11:00 AM

• Last names L–S: Arrive at 12:15 PM

• Last names T–Z: Arrive at 1:15 PM

Field 2 – Coach Pitch

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

• Players may arrive anytime between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM

Field 3 – Rookie Baseball

11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Last names A–J: Arrive at 11:00 AM

• Last names L–S: Arrive at 12:00 PM

• Last names T–Z: Arrive at 1:00 PM

Field 4 – Softball

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

• Ages 6–8: Arrive at 11:00 AM

• Ages 9–10: Arrive at 11:30 AM

• Ages 11–16: Arrive at 12:00 PM

Sunday, February 8th

Field 1 – Baseball Player Pitch (Ages 9–12)

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• Players may arrive anytime between 2:00 PM and 3:45 PM

Field 2 – Coach Pitch

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

• Players may arrive anytime between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM

Field 3 – Rookie Baseball

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• Players may arrive anytime between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM

Field 4 – Softball

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Evaluation Notes & Expectations

• Baseball and Softball evaluations (except Baseball Senior League) will be held February 7th & 8th. Please make every effort to attend.

• Tee Ball: No evaluations. Teams will be formed in mid-February and families will be notified.

• Coach Pitch: Players should attend one evaluation session (Saturday or Sunday).

• Rookie Baseball: Players should attend one evaluation session (Saturday or Sunday).

• Softball: Players should attend one evaluation session (Saturday or Sunday).

• Baseball Ages 9–12: Players should attend one evaluation session (Saturday or Sunday).

Additional Information

1. All evaluations will be held at Holland Park.

2. If you have siblings with different time slots, we will do our best to evaluate them close together.

3. An equipment donation table will be available for families wishing to donate gently used gear.

4. Required equipment: Baseball or softball glove.

   • Helmets, cleats, and bats are encouraged but not required.

   • Loaner equipment will be available if needed.
